Over Two Dozen Candidates Compete To Become Next Phillies Ballgirl
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Female athletes in the area are showing off their skills in hopes to become a Phillies ballgirl. The Phillies held tryouts Friday morning at Citizens Bank Park.
More than 30 candidates showed off their skills both on and off the field.
In addition to their game day duties, the ball girls also make appearances around the community.
About ten women will be picked to join the ballgirl team for the upcoming season.
