Former FBI Agent Robert Turkavage Switching To Democratic Party To Challenge South Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew
ATLANTIC COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) -- Another political candidate is switching parties in Atlantic County. This time, Robert Turkavage announced that he's switching to the Democratic Party to challenge Congressman Jeff Van Drew.
Van Drew flipped from Democrat to Republican last month after he voted against impeaching President Donald Trump.
Turkavage is a former FBI agent and he lost the Republican primary for the same congressional seat last year.
