Laughing Gas Stopped Heart Of 17-Year-Old Boy Who Died Near Penn State: Coroner

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (CBS) -- A teenager who died near Penn State's campus had inhaled laughing gas, officials say. The Center County Coroner's Office ruled John Schoenig's October death an accident.

The laughing gas stopped the 17-year-old's heart.

Penn State suspended the Chi Phi fraternity after the teen's death because members were reportedly in the house where it happened.
