Upper Darby Police Department Honors New Hires, Promotes 1st African American Female To Sergeant
UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) - It was a very special ceremony in Delaware County on Tuesday night. Eyewitness News was at Drexelbrook Catering where the Upper Darby Police Department honored the department's new hires.
Some members of the force were also promoted to new positions.
For the first time in department history, an African American female officer was promoted to sergeant.
