Marple Newtown High School Teacher Wins $25,000 National Award
NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. (CBS) – It was a big surprise for a Newtown Square teacher as she won a national award along with $25,000. Eyewitness News was at Marple Newtown High School as students and teachers gathered in the gym.
Elizabeth Landes received a Milken Educator Award, which recognizes teaching excellence.
This is the only Milken Educator Award to be given out in Pennsylvania this season, and the first in the Marple Newtown School District.
