29-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed In Evesham Township
EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - A 29-year-old woman was struck and killed in Burlington County, early Monday morning. The deadly accident happened around 2:30 a.m. Monday on the 100 block of Tuckerton Road in Evesham Township.
Police say Gennay Reader, of Newark, Delaware, and a man were walking west on the eastbound shoulder of Tuckerton Road when the victim entered the lane of travel and was struck by the van.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford van remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
