Philadelphia Fire Department Ambulance Catches Fire On Schuylkill Expressway, Officials Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia Fire Department ambulance caught fire on the Schuylkill Expressway on Saturday afternoon. Officials say the ambulance went up in flames around 4:30 p.m.

It happened westbound right before the Roosevelt Boulevard exit.

No one was injured in the fire.

It's unclear at this time what caused the blaze.
