Uber Driver Lands Music Deal After Video Of Him Singing Goes Viral

SOUTH AFRICA (CBS) - An Uber driver in South Africa, who impressed people all over the world with his opera singing, just released his first song. One of Menzi Mngoma's passengers recorded video of him singing and posted it on Facebook.

It quickly went viral and landed him a deal with a music producer.

He says one of the reasons he started driving an Uber was to make connections with people who could help further his career.
