2 Men Caught On Video Trying To Enter Several Homes Prior To Shooting In Roxborough, Police Say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for two suspects wanted in a shooting in the Roxborough section of the city. Officers say the shooting happened after two men gained access to a home on the 600 block of Walnut Lane at 3:13 a.m. Wednesday.

A 43-year-old man was shot once in the shoulder and chest, he is in critical condition and police say he is not cooperating with their investigation.

It is unclear if anything was stolen at this time.

"There's not much in this neighborhood that you could steal. I don't think anybody's got great wealth, expensive things that could be hauled away. They must have just been pretty desperate, three in the morning who knows what they were up to," said Dennis McGrath.

The suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction but they were caught on surveillance video trying to gain access to several other homes in the area prior to entering the victim's residence.
