Disease Hitting China's Pig Farms Could Cause Price Of Meat To Rise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A disease hitting China's pig farms could hit your pocketbook. African swine fever has ravaged China's hog count and is expected to decimate up to 200 million pigs.

As a result, meat manufactures and distributors like Tyson and McDonald's say they expect tighter supplies, and prices of meat products to rise.
