PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Villanova men’s basketball coach Jay Wright has turned down a major job offer to stay with the Wildcats. UCLA made a big offer to Coach Wright and he reportedly turned it down.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the Bruins offered to double his salary if he left Villanova.

Jay wasn’t having it.

Coach Wright makes close to $4 million per season right now, so he turned down some serious money.
