Firefighter Injured Battling 2-Alarm Blaze At Delaware Auto Garage

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - One firefighter was injured while battling a two-alarm blaze at an auto garage in Newark, Delaware.

Flames broke out at an auto garage on the 700 block of Stanton Christiana Road, just after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

When crews arrived, they found heavy fire conditions from the property. The fire caused $500,000 in damage.

The firefighter was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

There is no word on how the fire started.
