PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect who was captured on surveillance video throwing a cup of hot tea in an employee's face at the Silver Chopsticks restaurant in the Logan section of Philadelphia.
Tea is best served hot, but last Tuesday a worker was assaulted when one customer's beverage was not to his liking.
The victim at the North Philadelphia Chinese restaurant did not want to be on camera - but her daughter walks us through what led up to the assault.
"The other guys said the tea is not sweet enough I want more sugar," said the victim's daughter. "The guy didn't even taste it, he didn't even open it. He just said it wasn't sweet enough."
After she asked him to taste the tea, she tells us that's when the man threw the cup of scorching hot tea in the workers face.
"The guy just took the tea and then he opened the tea, my mom thought he was going to taste it. But he did not, he just opened it and threw it on my moms face."

The employee, a 47-year-old woman, was admitted to a local hospital with second- and third-degree burns to her face.
She is now hesitant to prepare another customer tea.
"Now even some other customers come in and buy the hot tea and now she's scared of doing it," added the daughter.
The aggravated assault happened on Tuesday, Nov. 6, when an unknown male entered the restaurant at 4711 N. Broad Street.
Regular customers say they can't understand why anyone would want to hurt such a kind woman and hope police are able to make an arrest.
Police ask anyone with information on the suspect to call 911 or 215-686-TIPS.
