PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- They're cute and cuddly but therapy dogs may bring more than just smiles to hospital patients.
Doctors at Johns Hopkins Hospital found the dogs can also spread superbugs.
It's especially a problem for patients with weakened immune systems.
They found washing the dogs before visits and using special wipes while they're in the hospital can reduce the bacteria they're carrying.
