Provata Fitness Trackers Recalled Over Burn Hazard

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Digital wellness company Provata is recalling 30,000 fitness trackers because they may burn users.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says there have been 13 reports of the device overheating while charging or being used.

Three users suffered burns to the wrist.

Provata is replacing them for free.
