Delta Bans 'Pit Bull-Type' Dogs

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Pet owners are sounding off on social media over Delta's recent ban on pit bulls.
This week, the airline announced an update to its support animal policy -- saying "Pit bull type dogs" won't be allowed to travel as service or emotional support animals.
The airline cited safety and security concerns.
The ban takes effect on July 10.
