SEPTA K-9 Reunited With Family Following Controversial Separation
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A SEPTA K-9 is back home with a South Jersey family following a controversial separation.
Abal, a bomb detection dog, lived with SEPTA Officer Richard Galanti and his family for four years.
The dog was recently transferred to another handler without explanation.
The family circulated a petition to get him back.
Abal is retiring from police work because of an injury and the Galanti family is now adopting the dog.
