Planned Parenthood In Newark Briefly Evacuated During Package Investigation
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) - A Planned Parenthood in Newark was evacuated Monday morning while authorities investigated a suspicious package at the building.
City officials say the package was found at the Planned Parenthood on the 100 block of East Delaware Avenue, around 10 a.m.
A bomb squad reported to the scene and evacuated the area.
Investigators say no threat was found. The package was addressed to an employee at that location and contained a file with papers in it.
The area reopened shortly after 12:30 p.m.
