Amtrak, SEPTA Airport Regional Rail Line Services Suspended After Person Struck By Train

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Amtrak and SEPTA Airport Regional Rail Line services were suspended for a period of time after a person was struck by a regional rail train in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 10 a.m. at 58th Street and Elmwood Avenue.

The person who was hit was not killed and was transported to a local hospital.

The victim's condition is not yet known.

Rail service has resumed.
