Pedestrian Struck, Killed In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed early Saturday morning in North Philadelphia.
It happened around 5 a.m. in the 4700 block of Whitaker Avenue in the city's Feltonville neighborhood.
Police say the 32-year-old man has just exited his vehicle when he was struck by a minivan travelling northbound on Whitaker Avenue.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver remained at the scene.
There was no word on any charges.
