NFL Shop apologized for the mistake.

“Following the dramatic Divisional Round playoffs, Fanatics experienced an error in our email distribution system which incorrectly triggered NFLShop.com emails to a portion of NFL fans. We take full responsibility for the mistake and have already made sure it won’t happen again,” Fanatics CEO Doug Mack said in a statement.

The Steelers were favored to beat the Jaguars, but lost 45-42.
