Philly School District Schools, Archdiocesan Schools Closed Thursday Due To Winter Storm
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- All School District of Philadelphia schools will be closed Thursday due to the impending snowstorm, officials have announced.
The school district has also canceled all after-school activities, including all athletic programs and professional development sessions scheduled for Thursday. All district early childhood centers will also be closed.
Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the City of Philadelphia also will be closed Thursday due to the anticipated storm, officials announced Wednesday.
