Officials Investigating Cause Of Slaughter Beach Fire On Christmas Night
SLAUGHTER BEACH, DE (CBS) -- Officials are investigating the blaze that fire crews battled when multiple homes were engulfed in flames in Sussex County, Delaware on Christmas night.
The fire broke out around 7 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Bay Avenue in Slaughter Beach.

Officials say two houses were destroyed, along with three other homes that suffered damage due to exposure.
Investigators are searching for the fire's origin and cause.
Officials say the fire damage is expected to be more than $500,000.
There were no reported injuries.
