Pennsylvania Secret Santa Pays Off Layaway Items

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A secret Santa in Pittston Township, Pennsylvania wanted to ensure some folks there had a Merry Christmas.

The anonymous Santa stopped by a Kmart to pay for toys on strangers' layaway bill.

The person paid more than $1,000 for items.

It's the season for giving, but this particular act of kindness stood out to those shopping at Kmart.

Kmart says the anonymous shopper doesn't have any children and specifically asked to pay off bills that had toys.
