Wilmington Racer Escapes Without Injury After Powerboat Crash In Key West
KEY WEST, Fla. (CBS) - There was a dramatic powerboat crash at the Key West World Championship when two boats in the Superboat Unlimited class collided.
One of the boats flipped over.
The CT Marine boat, owned and driven by racer Andy Strobert of Wilmington, Delaware, climbed up the back of another vessel.
Strobert and other members of his team were able to escape their flipped boat through an escape hatch.
No one was injured.
