Police: 34 Shots Fired Towards Home, Car In Fatal West Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects following a fatal shooting in West Philadelphia on Thursday morning where 34 shots were fired.

It happened in the 4500 block of Merion Avenue around 9:30 a.m.

Police say 29-year-old Terrell Shields was shot multiple times as he was getting into his car.

He was transported to Presbyterian Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators say 34 shots were fired towards a home and a car.

No arrests have been made.
