Several People Injured After SEPTA Trolley, School Bus Collide In SW Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Multiple people were injured after a SEPTA trolley and a school bus collided in Southwest Philadelphia, Wednesday morning.
It happened near 57th Street and Woodland Avenue, just before 8 a.m.
SEPTA says a Route 11 trolley was heading westbound, when a small school bus pulled in front of it and the two collided.
Seven people aboard the trolley, including the conductor, were injured. The school bus driver was also injured.
There were no children aboard the school bus.
All eight people were taken to the hospital. Officials say they are OK, they just have minor injuries.
There were road closures and Route 11 service was affected for about an hour during the morning rush.
