Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Maple Shade

MAPLE SHADE, NJ. (CBS) -- One person is dead after being struck by a car in Burlington County, New Jersey.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Route 73 in Maple Shade Township.

Police did close all lanes in both directions after the accident but they have since been reopened.

The driver of did remain on the scene.

There was no word on what led up to the crash.
