Donnel Pumphrey Placed On IR With Torn Hamstring

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Eagles rookie running back Donnel Pumphrey tore his hamstring during practice, an injury Doug Pederson called "significant" on Friday.

Pumphrey, 22, was the Eagles' fourth-round pick in this year's draft.

Pumphrey was inactive for the team's Week 1 game against the Redskins, operating behind LeGarrette Blount, Wendell Smallwood, and Darren Sproles on the depth chart.

Pumphrey tweet this on Friday.

The Eagles have placed Pumphrey on injured reserve.
