Woman Killed In West Philadelphia Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning in West Philadelphia.
Shortly before 3 a.m., police responded to gunshots near 40th and Aspen Streets.
Upon arrival, police found the 59-year-old victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her chest, shoulder, arm, and side.
The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition, where she was pronounced dead at 3:15 a.m.
Investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
