Fatal Accident Shuts Down Portion Of Route 130 In Burlington County

DELRAN, N.J. (CBS) — A fatal accident has shut down a portion of Route 130 in Burlington County on Thursday afternoon.

It happened around 4 p.m. on Rt. 130 northbound in the area of Tenby Chase Dr.

Police say John J. DeVece, 44, of Delran was struck by the driver of a red Nissan SUV. DeVece was pronounced dead at the scene.

The northbound side of Route 130 was closed for hours while police conducted their investigation.


The car did stay on the scene.
