Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Near South Jersey Brewery

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting near a South Jersey brewery Wednesday.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Kings Highway in Maple Shade, New Jersey, for a report of a shooting around 8:30 a.m. That's right behind the Iron Hill Brewery.

Police found the victim, who police identify as Devon Young, 26, of Willingboro, with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police believe Young was the intended target and that this was not a random incident.

The brewery said in a statement that no employees or customers were involved in the incident.

"The shooting that happened in Maple Shade this morning was in the parking lot behind where Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant is located.  There were no Iron Hill employees or customers involved or injured in this incident. Iron Hill is supporting local law enforcement in their ongoing investigation and will remain closed while this process continues," the brewery said.

In addition, Iron Hill Brewery will be opening for business as at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

An autopsy is being conducted this afternoon by Burlington County Medical Examiner.

No charges have been filed as of this time.
