Police say the car rolled over her, and she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Her nine-year-old son, Jaden, broke his leg after he, too, was hit.
He is recovering at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Jaden has not been told his mother passed away, according to family.
Rosa Lydia’s daughter witnessed the crash — and a crowd of people quickly gathered to make sure the driver wasn’t successful in running away.
Rosa’s father says he will stay out here, to demonstrate he wants justice for his late daughter.MORE NEWS: Brandywine Valley SPCA, Other Shelters Holding Mega Adoption Event This Weekend
