PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — On Sunday, June 11, some 400 classic and exotic cars will converge on the Wells Fargo Center for a Super Car Show to cap a 5-day series of events promoting Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) education. The program is hosted by CF Charities, in collaboration with the Nike Jordan Brand, the School District of Philadelphia, and Mayor’s Office of Education.
READ MORE: Chestnut Hill Hospital To Be Renamed If Sale Goes ThroughThe event will start with a cavalcade of a 100 Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, McLarens, Porsches, Bentleys and other classic collector cars doing a 5-mile police motorcycle escorted loop from the Wells Fargo Center up Broad Street and the Ben Franklin Parkway and then back to the sports complex.

The recent wave of innovation and technology in the automotive industry has been a major driver in the heightened interest STEM education.
