Grand Jury Indicts Woman Who Allegedly Threw Girl In Front Of Approaching Train
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--A grand jury indicts a woman accused of throwing a five-year old girl in the path of a train in Burlington City.
Autumn Matacchiera is facing attempted murder charges.
Authorities say the 20-year-old grabbed the child on the platform of the River Line station last January and threw her on the tracks.
The girl's mother and an eyewitness rescued the girl.
Matacchiera underwent a psychiatric evaluation after the incident and remains hospitalized.
