Police Investigating Reported Sexual Assault Of Teen Girl In Abandoned House

HUNTING PARK, Pa. (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Police Special Victims Unit is investigating the report of a sexual assault in an abandoned house in Juniata.

Investigators say a 13-year-old girl voluntarily went into a house on the 1300 block of Butler Street with several boys.

After she left that house, police say the teenager borrowed a man's phone and called 911.

Neighbors have long complained about the boarded up row home. They say it's a known hang out for teens.

"You got a group of young kids, most of them probably don't even live around here, but they are constantly in that building instead of being in school. This is a during the day situation," said resident Charles Wardlaw.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

There have been no arrests made.
