CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (CBS) -- Sources tell Eyewitness News that a middle-aged woman was stabbed over 20 times by her handicapped nephew who she had taken in.

The woman, identified as 60-year-old Catherine Wanamaker, died as a result of her injuries.

The incident happened at Hallowell Street and 9th Avenue in Conshohocken, Montgomery County.

Police say they had to force themselves into the home after receiving a call about a disturbance.

Police have reportedly been called to the residence many times in the past.

The suspect is in custody, sources say.

Sources say Wanamaker took in her drug-addicted nephew who is in a wheelchair a few years ago.
