Police say as they were making entry into the home of Steven Stone, 27, of Brick when he was  attempting to destroy the traces of the illegal activity.

Despite Stone's efforts, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office was able to obtain evidence that he was downloading and sharing images and movies of prepubescent children engaging in sexual activity.

Stone is being changed with second degree distribution of child pornography and one count of third degree possession of child pornography.

Stone is being held at the Ocean County Jail on $100,000 bail.

The investigation and subsequent arrest was the result of a pro-active "Cyber Child Pornography Drag Net" cast by the Ocean County Prosecutor's High Tech Crime Unit.
