BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) — Police in Bensalem have arrested a man and are searching for another in connection to a robbery of an elderly woman at Parx Casino.

The incident took place on Dec. 11 when police say a 73-year-old was robbed by two men in the parking lot of the casino.

According to police, one suspect ripped the victim’s purse from her shoulder and fled with undisclosed amount of money and the victim’s cell phone.

On Friday, Bensalem police announced the arrest of 33-year-old Jason Ballard for his role in the crime.


Police are still searching for 31-year-old Miguel Soto.

Both suspects are from the Newark area.

They are being charged with robbery, theft and conspiracy.

Ballard is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.
