PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — People across Pennsylvania and Delaware have been playing their own versions of Secret Santa.

Some have paid off department stores’ layaway tabs, like the Secret Santa who does that every year at a Kmart in Holmes, Pennsylvania.

Another person gave $46,000 for layaway items at an Everett, Pennsylvania, Walmart.

Others have covered elementary school students’ meal accounts. One person did so in Wilmington, Delaware, and another in Herminie, Pennsylvania.
