Leodis McKelvin Takes Interception To The House

By Rahul Lal

Leodis McKelvin has been a dangerous player for a number of years now but has struggled this season at times in his first season for the Philadelphia Eagles. The tough-nosed cornerback was able to take his second interception of the season to the house during Sunday's game against the Redskins for his second career pick-six.

The Eagles and Redskins are locked in yet another heated division matchup as the Eagles sit out of playoff contention at 5-7 trying to push the Redskins (6-5-1) out of playoff contention. Both teams have been through up and down seasons but will try to end the season on positive notes.

With McKelvin's touchdown, the Eagles only trail 21-19 in the fourth quarter in Philadelphia. The Eagles are led by 213 yards passing by rookie Carson Wentz who has a touchdown and an interception.

One of the most reliable players in Philadelphia, Darren Sproles, caught a historic touchdown earlier in the day to put him in the record books. On the other side of the field, the Redskins are lead by 195 yards thrown by Kirk Cousins and two touchdowns including an 80-yard bomb to former Eagle DeSean Jackson. Jackson has been the subject of rumors lately as he's expressed interest in returning to the Eagles as a free agent this offseason.
