Pet Pictures With Santa Benefits Local Animal Rescue Shelter
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A suburban animal welfare organization is bringing a little holiday warmth to pet owners while raising some cash for the cause.
The 'Purrfect Paws Rescue' hosted the first of two Santa Paws event at the Petco store on Lancaster Avenue in Wynnewood. Group President Donna Interrante said pet owners bring their four legged pals in for a picture with Santa, and the whole family can get in the shot.
"Pictures at $9.95. You get a color print in a frame and 100 percent of those proceeds go to our rescue, Purrfect Paws Rescue, for the veterinary care of the foster pets that we take in from the streets."
So you create a family heirloom and do something good at the same time. If you missed this week's event, Santa will be back at the store on the 17th from one till four.
