'America's Most Wanted' Montgomery County Fugitive Caught In England

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A man who's been on the run since he pleaded guilty in Montgomery County to raping a 13 year-old has been caught in England.

Gerard Zalewski pleaded guilty to two felonies back in 2005, one for sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl, another for chatting and then trying to meet with what he thought was a 12-year-old but was actually a detective.

He disappeared before his sentencing in March 2006.

His information was put out around the world, and Samantha Cauffman, who was lead prosecutor in the case, says the now-33-year-old has turned up.

"He was arrested in England in a very, very similar sexual assault of a child case," Cauffman said. "We were notified and we've begun the process to request that he be extradited back to the United States."

Zalewski has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in England. He was sentenced in absentia in Montgomery to 5-20 years in state prison. He will face up to 14 years for fleeing.

"When you violate children we're not going to stop looking for you no mater how long it takes," Cauffman said. "We're going to keep looking for you until we find you."
