12:30 on Sunday afternoon, Philadelphia Police say a man drove off after stealing a woman's purse. That 46-year-old victim, held to the suspect's car before falling off.

Anna Tran owns a hair salon in the same parking lot where the attack happened at 330 Oregon Avenue. She was working on Sunday, November 27, the moment the suspect struck. Eyewitness News showed the video to shoppers.

According to detectives, the mystery man spent time stalking people as they cam in and out of several stores. He pulled up in a gray SUV, believed to be a Toyota Highlander.

Philadelphia Police want people to notice distinctive air vents and tail pipe on the suspect's car.

"It doesn't just affect me," Tran said. "It affects the people coming in who will be afraid to come in here so that might scare some people away."

People are asked to contact Philadelphia Police if they know who the person is in the video. Police describe the suspect as a black man, 5'10," wearing a black jacket and gray pants.
