Penn State Not Selected To College Football Playoff

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The NCAA has spoken and this year's football playoffs will not include the Big Ten champions.

Penn State came back to beat Wisconsin Saturday night, but today they were passed over in consideration for the national title, coming in with a ranking of 5th in a four team tournament.

Alabama and Clemson were the top seeds in the football final four, followed by Ohio State and the Pac 12 Champions Washington.
