PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Are you looking to add a furry friend to your family? You're in luck.

One of the largest adoption events in the tri-state area will be held this weekend, December 2-4.

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at the First Troop Calvary Armory on 22 South 23rd Street in Philadelphia.

There will be over 1,000 spay/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped animals up for adoption.
