Police: Philadelphia Teen Shot After Stray Bullet Crashes Through Window

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say a teenage girl was hospitalized on Monday night after a stray bullet crashed through the window of her home and struck her in the leg. The incident occurred in the Logan section of the city on the 4400 block of Gratz Street.

Authorities say they arrived at the home and discovered the girl inside, suffering from the gunshot wound to the leg. They took the 14-year-old to Einstein and she was listed in stable condition.

Church Youth Group Leader Charged With Sexually Assaulting 2 Girls At Church

The shooting occurred around 6:10 p.m. Police say no arrest has been made and no weapon was recovered.

Authorities say they believe that this shooting might have been related to a shooting that took place a few blocks away on the 1500 block of Venango Street earlier in the afternoon.
