Porter: Keep Your Eye On Potential Sixer Markelle Fultz

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- I know the Sixers aren't tanking anymore (wink, wink), but how does #FloppingForFultz sound?

While the Sixers were getting blown out on national TV, Washington freshman Markelle Fultz was putting on a show. Fultz, just 18-years-old, is the real deal.

A 2016 McDonald's All-American and the FIBA Americas under-18 championship MVP, Fultz is averaging 32.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game albeit in just two collegiate games.

On Thursday, Fultz went for 35 points in 33 minutes, shooting 10-14 from the field and 3-5 from three point range.

Maybe most impressively was after the game, speaking about his 35-point game, Fultz simply said, "I just look at it as me playing basketball, doing what I love."

The 6'4, 185-pound wing-guard has a 6'9.75 wingspan according to USA basketball per DraftExpress. Fultz would look gorgeous in a Sixers uniform and would form a dynamic and balanced trio with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
