MOUNT LAUREL, NJ (CBS) — Only the shoulder gets by southbound on the New Jersey Turnpike while authorities deal with a tractor trailer fire in Mount Laurel.

The tractor caught fire around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, a little past the Route 73 exit.

It was transporting cars, and is fully engulfed in flames.

There’s no word on injuries, or what caused the tractor to catch fire.

The fire has closed all southbound lanes of the turnpike in the area, and motorists are advised to use 295 South or another alternate route in the meantime.
