PHILADELPHIA (CBS)—Authorities at the University of Maryland College Park are searching for a missing woman with New Jersey ties who was last seen on November 10, CBS Baltimore reports.
Campus police released security footage of 21-year-old Kaitlyn George leaving her dorm around 4:42 p.m. last week at Allegany Hall, with a camping style backpack and a pink bag.
Footage shows Kaitlyn getting into a white taxi cab in front of Annapolis Hall by herself on her own accord.
Campus police say Kaitlyn was scheduled to meet a friend around 5 p.m. at the university’s recreation center to go on a hiking trip. When Kaitlyn did not show up, her friend came to the police station to report her missing.
According to CBS Baltimore, the taxi driver told authorities that she was dropped off in front of a marina in Federal Hill, Baltimore. She remains missing at this time.
Kaitlyn is approximately 5’ 3”, approximately 121 pounds, has hazel eyes and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a green long sleeved jacket, and bright colored socks (that are mid-calf level). She possibly had a black and white camping backpack and a green canvas bag with her.
